So, we’ve been looking at summer face packs. Here are few more to add to your list of face packs for use during summers.
Few ingredients are really cooling during summers. Summer packs usually have a combination of moisturizing and cooling ingredients. We’ve already seen a few but they’re not enough are they? So, more recipes to add to your haul for summers ☺
Sandalwood Mask
Take a tablespoon of Sandalwood Powder and make a paste with Rose Water. Apply this pack to your It is a cooling pack and ideal to curb skin dryness, acne and lighten marks and scars.
I also add a pinch of Turmeric Powder to this and apply to my face and neck and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse off. I like that this also curbs blackheads when used regularly.
Almond Mask
Dry skin? No worries soothe it with this mask in no time. Soak 7 Almonds overnight and grind them to a fine paste next morning with Rose Water. Apply this on your face and neck and wait for 10 minutes before washing off.
Honey Mask
Take two tablespoons each of Almond Oil, Honey and a few drops of Vitamin E Oil. Massage this mixture to your face and neck and let it sit for 25 minutes. Rinse off with warm water for welcome relief from dryness and dull skin.
Cucumber Mask
The humble cucumber does a world of good for your skin. It is also cooling, refreshing and soothing for the skin among other things. I particularly love to use it as a mask after a day out in sun to nurture and soothe my skin.
Take a tablespoon each of ground oats, cucumber juice and yogurt and make a mask. Apply this to your face and neck and wait till fully dry. Rinse off with warm water for soft and supple skin.
Yogurt Mask
In your mixer add a cucumber, a spoon of Yogurt and a spoon of Honey and whisk to get a soft paste. Apply this as a pack to your face and neck and rinse off after 20 minutes. I like that this also brings down puffiness and curbs black spots while refreshing my skin.
You can apply face masks at least once a week. Most of these masks can be used twice or thrice a week. However, when you don’t have time Aloe Vera, Cucumber Juice or even Potato Juice are great ways to soothe your skin.
You can also use Rose Water as your spritzer during the day to keep your skin hydrated and fresh. These are just a few tips that keep skin hydrated, fresh and lively during hot and scorching summers. What do you do during summers?
