What does the coming season remind you of? Of course, it is Pumpkin Spice and everything nice, right? As corny as that sounds, pumpkin spice is indeed the flavor of the season right?

Next on the list of DIY Gifts for the Season is Pumpkin Spice Perfume. I wanted to keep the recipes in line with the holiday season and thought this would be a good addition.

Who doesn’t love the Pumpkin Spice Smell and it doesn’t get old, right? So, here you go! You can now carry the season’s flavor with you everywhere you go!

Ingredients

Jojoba Oil – 15 Ml
Cinnamon Essential Oil – 3 Drops
Nutmeg Essential Oil – 5 Drops
Ginger Essential Oil – 3 Drops
Clove Essential Oil – 3 Drops
Cardamom Essential Oil – 3 Drops
Vitamin E Oil – 3 Drops

Instructions

Add all the give ingredients one after the other to a dark glass roll-on bottle – start with Jojoba Oil and add the essential oils.

After all the ingredients are added seal the bottle and shake gently.

Let it sit for two day and it’s good to go!

How to Use the Perfume?

Apply the perfume to the insides of your wrists and behind your ears – you can also apply to other pulse points, as you like.

You can also use this on your hair – spray is easier for hair 😉

You can also use this in your essential oil diffuser or in your bath!

Tips to Tweak the Recipe

You can use Pumpkin Spice Drops instead of the different essential oils.

You can use any carrier oil though I prefer lighter oils for Roll-on. Argan Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Aprocot Oil, etc. work best.

You can also use vodka or denatured alcohol if you don’t want oil-based perfume.

You can increase the quantity of the ingredients and make a larger batch and use it as spray too – I find Vodka or denatured alcohol good as a spray.

You could alter the ratios of the essential oils to suit you better – I have kept the tingling oils on the down low but you can increase it if you’re not sensitive.

Why These Ingredients?

Jojoba keeps the perfume fairly easy to absorb and non-greasy. The combination of the Pumpkin Spice Essentials Oil reminds us of the holiday season and keeps us upbeat and the envy of everyone 😉

Like every other recipe, feel free to tweak the ingredients and play around with the ingredients and ratios to come up with your very own version of this recipe. It’s always fun to play around and tweak the recipes to see what you come up with.
