Lashes can make your eyes stand out and look good, or breaks your efforts to look good according to experts.

A good Lash Serum can nourish your lashes and give you that coveted perfect lashes naturally. After all, you can only enhance your lashes if they’re good and healthy!

If your lashes aren’t strong, are too thin then you will need extensions and what not and that’s not something many love. Using natural ingredients you can strengthen your lashes and make them grow longer and stronger. What’s not to like about it?

So ready for the serum? The best thing besides it being natural – with hardly few ingredients it is extremely easy to prepare ☺

Ingredients

Jamaican Black Castor Oil – 1 Tbsp.
Dwarf Copper Leaf Infused Sweet Almond Oil – 1 Tbsp.
Vitamin E Oil – 1 Tsp.

Instructions

Nothing complicated – just mix all the above ingredients and pour into a sterilized empty Mascara Tube and you’re good to go!

Tips to Tweak the Recipe

I love using Dwarf Copper Leaf Infused Sweet Almond Oil, though Coconut Oil works well too.

You can use Organic and Cold Pressed Castor Oil if you can’t get Black Castor Oil.

If you are allergic to Castor Oil I would suggest using Emu Oil instead of Castor Oil.

You can also add beneficial essential oils to improve the recipe.

You can add a dash of beeswax to make the serum slightly thicker if you prefer.

You can also use other eye ingredients that are good for your eyes like Olive Oil, Green Tea infused Oils, Lemon Infused Oil, Shea Butter, etc.

How to Use the Serum?

Dip the Mascara wand and apply on your lashes at night or even day – if you don’t mind using during the day.

Done!

Shelf Life

This lasts a good year (more or less) depending on the ingredients used.

Why These Ingredients?

This will make your lashes grow better and stronger – thickening your lashes within weeks of usage. I have noticed good results for many in two weeks.

Rich in nutrients and highly viscous, Castor Oil can do wonders for your lashes and keep them hydrated and nourished. It is also considered cooling for the eyes, a reason our ancestors used it for their eyes. Also, it is said to prevent balding or thinning of lashes. If you love your lashes Castor Oil is a must in your eye or lash care routine. If you have lighter lashes like blonde or golden you should be able to use Black Castor Oil, though if it stains and you’re not a fan of that switch to Castor Oil.

Dwarf Copperleaf is also used in natural Kajal or Eye Liner in Asian countries for its cooling properties and eye related benefits, besides the ability to boost hair growth. It can nourish your lashes and keep them strong.

Vitamin E Oil is another nourishing ingredient for skin or hair care besides the shelf life increasing benefit it offers DIY Recipes. It can nourish and strengthen your lashes and boost lash growth.
