Who doesn’t love clear and healthy skin? We all do. Don’t we? Here are few ways to care for your skin and deal with a few skin issues, naturally.
Blemishes
Papaya is gentle on your skin, but cleanses your skin, gets rid of dead cells and also naturally lightens your skin. Want fair and clear skin? Apply a paste made from papaya and few drops of raw milk. You can even use this thrice a day till the blemishes fade and move to a bi-weekly schedule!
Mix rose water, lemon juice and cucumber juice (equal quantities) and apply it at night. It improves your complexion, fades blemishes and marks and also, prevents breakouts.
If you don’t want to use lemon juice on your skin (it irritates your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin), use carrots instead. You can either apply carrot juice, or mashed carrots. Wash off after 20 – 30 minutes for clear and radiant face. Blemishes will reduce with regular usage.
Radiance
Apply coconut milk for fresh, radiant and clear skin. You can also wait for 5 – 10 minutes after applying coconut milk before washing off, for better results.
Fairness
Want to reduce blemishes and marks? Want to get fair skin? Tomato is a great fairness aid. It is also gentle on your skin.
You can just rub a slice of tomato if you don’t have time. It still works! Wash off after 5 minutes. Do you know it works for men too?
Alternatively, prepare a paste of tomato, cucumber and add a few drops of lemon juice and use this thrice a week for best results. If you gave sensitive skin, you can skip lemon and use orange juice instead if cucumber doesn’t ease your skin. Or skip both and stick with tomato and cucumber.
Wrinkles
Wrinkles? Use Castor Oil for curbing wrinkles and fine lines. Apply a few drops of castor to your face every night for younger looking skin.
You can also apply Coconut Oil everyday, right after shower for curbing ageing skin signs.
Skin Pigmentation
Irregular skin pigmentation can be a problem, especially when skin tone is uneven. Rub a potato slice to get rid of pigmentation and uneven skin tone, the natural way.
Sun Exposure
Prepare a mixture of cucumber juice, glycerin and rose water (equal quantities) and refrigerate the mixture. Apply it before heading out works – it works as a natural sunscreen.
Cleansing Pores
Use unpasteurized raw milk as a cleanser for cleaning pores and removing dead skin cells. Just dab a cotton ball in milk for cleansing and wash of with tepid water.
Pimples or Acne
Combine equal quantities of lemon juice and rose water and apply in your face using a cotton ball. Wash off after half hour. Do this every day for curbing pimples and reducing marks or scars for 15 – 20 days.
If you have acne, prepare a tea with basil leaves and use it on the affected area for relief from acne.
Apply a paste of turmeric and sandalwood powder (1:1) and wash off after 15 – 20 minutes. Do this everyday to prevent acne and pimples. If you have acne or pimples currently, it will reduce or heal them and you can prevent further breakouts thereafter. This mixture also helps reduce blemishes.
Sun Burn
Mix tomato juice and buttermilk (1:1) and apply this to affected areas. Wash off after half hour.
These are simple ways to care for your skin. Also, use only natural and organic skincare and beauty products – they’re skin-friendly and you don’t pile on the chemicals.
