We’ve been seeing how to apply mineral makeup in the recent posts. This is a continuation of the same topic, so hop on!

We all love to know more about dolling up ourselves and mineral makeup has really made it possible for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin to indulge without worrying. Let’s learn more about applying it right. Shall we?

Dip, Tap and Ready!

When you use powdered makeup, you use a brush for easier and even application. When you dip the brush it gets coated or loaded with the powder. However, if you apply as is, there can be a lot of makeup. Instead, after dipping the brush, tap it gently on your wrist to get rid of excess powder. Then it is ready for application.

Apply the makeup using circular motions for an even and uniform coverage. Give special attention to problem areas (chin, under the chin, near the ears) and repeat the process if needed, till you are all set.

Want Rosy Glow? Try a Bronzer or a Blush!

Getting a rosy glow is really easy with mineral makeup. Use a bronzer or blush – depending on what you like, your skin tone and preference.

Just like your foundation, use circular motions to apply your bronzer or blush. You apply your blush to the apples of your cheeks and then move upwards towards your ears. Easy, right?

Buff!

If you use layers of makeup, buffing your mineral makeup is very important for even and uniform coverage. Make sure you in front on your mirror when you do makeup and buff when done – you might have to do it twice or thrice for getting everything right.

Love Foundation?

Just mix a little mineral powder to your moisturizer or lotion and apply. Voila, your foundation is ready!

Want your Eyes to Look Outstanding?

Mascara and eye shadow go a long way in bringing out your eyes. Make sure to use eye primer or foundation, so the eye shadow is highlighted and sticks to the surface of the lids. After loading your eye shadow brush, tap off excess and apply to your lids with downward, short strokes going from the outer corner to inwards.

Don’t want your eye shadow getting into your eyes? Use a tissue – it will catch any debris 😉

Mineral Veil!

There’s a difference when the finishing touch isn’t given. Mineral veil is the finishing touch for mineral makeup. It holds the makeup longer and gives a flawless finish. So, don’t skimp on this if you want a perfect finish.
