What better way to relax after a tiring day, or a hectic week than with a good soak? It gives the much needed relaxation and time for our body and mind to relax and unwind.
The subtle fragrance of lily has always been alluring and romanticized by many. It is important to understand not all lilies have a pleasant or any fragrance at all for that matter. Oriental lilies are most known for their fragrance, whereas, other lily variants including Lily of the Valley, Tiger Lily smell good too.
Now that’s cleared up, let’s get into the meat of the recipe.

Shelf Life
This lasts good for a while though I have always prepared smaller batches that last for 2 – 3 soaks. This one makes about 4 uses at half cup per use.
Why These Ingredients?
Lily is a relaxing and calming scent. Honey is hydrating and soothing to your skin. Combined with other ingredients this makes for a relaxing and soothing bath after a hectic or long day.
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
You can add in Magnesium Salt for pain relief. It is especially ideal if you’re looking to crash shortly after your soak.
You can use Lavender Essential Oil or other relaxing and soothing essential oils in this recipe – Chamomile Essential Oil, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil, Neroli Essential Oil, etc.
You can add Mint Essential Oil, Hyssop Essential Oil, Birch Essential Oil, Wintergreen Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, etc. for pain relief or to relax sore and tired muscles.
You can use any light carrier oil like Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Apricot Oil, etc. instead of Jojoba Oil in this recipe. You can add more oil if you have dry, itchy, or sensitive skin.
You can reduce the amount of liquid soap depending on your preference, skin tolerance level and requirements.
You can also add a dash of Oatmeal to your bath for a more soothing soak.
