Not always, but in most cases they can fade away fully or partially, if you use certain healing ingredients. The key is being patient and persistent with your efforts, so the scars begin to fade away into oblivion.
Here’s a DIY Scar Oil recipe you can try for eliminating blemishes and scars. Ready, everyone?

Avocado Oil – 30 Ml
Arnica Flower – 1 Tbsp.
Calendula Flowers – 1 Tbsp.
St. John’s Wort Flowering Tops – 1 Tbsp.
Olive Oil – 30 Ml
Helichrysum Essential Oil – 20 Drops
Geranium Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Lavender Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Frankincense Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Instructions
In a glass jar, add the flowers along with Olive Oil and Avocado Oil. You can add less or more flowers – basically the oil should cover the flowers thoroughly.
Cover this bottle with cheesecloth and keep it in sun for about two weeks. By evening, remove the bottle from sun and close the lid. Repeat this process – leaving it out during the day, for about 1 – 2 weeks till the oils are infused with the flowers.
Filter the oil through a sieve and gently press down the flowers to get all the oil out.
Transfer this oil to a dark glass bottle and add in the essential oils.
Shake gently to combine and wait for two days, for the oils to combine and blend.
Voila!
How to Use this Oil?
Apply on affected areas after cleansing your skin, every night. Gently massage for a few seconds till your skin absorbs the oil.
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
You can add a few drops of Vitamin E Oil to this recipe.
