Anything you apply on your skin will be absorbed into your body through the pores. Think – if it clearly states NOT fit for consumption and yet absorbed by body imagine what it can do?

Most products are loaded with chemicals and synthetic ingredients that do more harm than we imagine or know. Especially the ingredients used in perfumes can disrupt hormonal balance and we wonder why fertility clinics are opening left, right and center.

The list of what the ingredients can do and why the products are going from worse to worst is a long topic and debated too often. A quick search will fill in you in on the corporate agenda where companies manufacture one product for a problem and then medicines for the problem that creates. It’s a vicious cycle really. Shelf Life

This lasts a good few days but I prefer fresher batches every few days – this way I can also rotate the fragrance based on my mood or have more than one variation handy for my different moods and requirements.

Tips to Tweak the Recipe

White Sage Extract is chosen for it’s perspiration reduction property. It is considered one of the best, though Burdock is said to route sweat through Lymphatic System. You can give that a shot too.

Tea Tree Oil is said to reduce sweating and when applied regularly, many report good results. It is a good option if you’re considering alternatives to White Sage.

Witch Hazel is another ingredient that not only helps with the merging of oils but also helps reduce perspiration. However, there are few organic alcohols for those who are interested in trying it out.

As for the essential oils used in the recipe, go with ones you like best. The combination works best when you choose what aromas you like, or prefer or need.
