Preparation

Combine all the essential oils listed above along with vanilla essence in an amber glass bottle. Set aside.

Melt the Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil and Beeswax in your double boiler.

Let it sit for while – till it cools down.

When the mixture cools down, add it to your blender along with other oils and blend on low speed.

Slowly introduce the aloe gel and rose hydrosol and continue whipping till the mixture is thick.

Now, add the essential oil mixture and when fully combined, transfer to a sterilized jar.

How to Use This Cream?

You can this night or morning, whenever your skin needs a little care and moisture.

Why These Ingredients?

This combination of ingredients are a treat for your skin and keep your skin healthy, problem-free and supple.

All the ingredients are picked carefully to suit most skin types, to keep skin problems at bay and also, rejuvenate, repair and nourish the skin. What more can you ask for?

In short, this is an all-round cream that will do wonders for your face!

Tips to Tweak the Recipe

You can use Cocoa Butter instead of Shea Butter, or use both.

You can use Evening Primrose Oil if you don’t get Borage Oil.

If you don’t prefer Vanilla extract, you can use Vodka instead.

Shelf Life

Since we are adding Wheat Germ Oil and probably Evening Primrose Oil, don’t skimp on the Vitamin E Oil. It will prevent these two oils from going rancid.

Remember to sterilize the container you are going to use for storing the cream, along with all the utensils and equipment you will use like blender.

When you make sure you do all this and refrigerate the cream, it lasts a whole year! So prepare your batches larges or smaller according to your usage.
