Coco Pink Scrub

In a mixing bowl, add 2 Tbsp. of Pink Salt, 1 Tbsp. of Coconut Oil and a few drops of Lime Essential Oil – a few drops. Combine all the ingredients and use this as your scrub for pampering, exfoliating and cleansing your skin. This scrub leaves you feeling refreshed, thanks to the lime essential oil!

Charcoal Scrub

In a mixing bowl, add 1 Tbsp. of Jojoba Oil, a few drops of Tamanu Oil, 3 Tbsp. of Facial Clay of your choice, 1 Tbsp. of Activated Charcoal and a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil and mix using a spatula. You can alter the oil levels according to your preference and consistency. This is ideal for those with Acne-prone skin, or exposed to pollutants a lot.

Red Sea Salt Scrub

In a mixing bowl, add 2 Tbsp. of Red Sea Salt (fine version, or throw in your mixer and run for a few seconds to make it fine), 1 Tbsp. of Jojoba Oil and ½ Tsp. Passion Fruit Oil – ½ Tsp. and mix well. Use this detoxing and refreshing scrub, which will leave your skin feeling fresh and smooth.

Vanilla Scrub

Who doesn’t love the aromatic and enticing Vanilla? Take a cup of Sugar and add a spoon each of Vanilla Extract and Vitamin E Oil and enough Coconut Oil to make a relaxing and enticing scrub!

Holiday Scrub

Come holidays, the smell of Pumpkin Spice is what greets us and gets us in the holiday mood. In a mixing bowl combine a cup of brown sugar, a spoon of Vitamin E Oil, ½ Cup of Olive Oil and ½ Tsp. of Pumpkin Pie Spice Powder. Voila, a holiday themed Scrub is ready!

Coffee Scrub

In a mixing bowl, add 2 Tbsp. of Coffee Grounds, 2 Tbsp. of Sweet Almond Oil, 1 Tbsp. of Salt and 1 Tbsp. of Sugar and mix to combine. You can also add a few drops of Vitamin E Oil. This scrub will not only exfoliate, but also reduce cellulite with continued use and leaves your feeling refreshed and picked up.

How to Use Scrubs?

It is a good idea to cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser like Milk, Aloe Vera Gel, etc.

Rinse off with lukewarm water and then, gently apply the scrub in circular motions on your skin. If you are using for your face, avoid skin that’s too close to your eyes. After massaging the scrub gently into your skin, continue massaging for a few seconds. Wait for ¼ minute and then, rinse off with lukewarm water. Finish with a toner, followed by a moisturizer – a moisturizer is not needed often, since we use oils though some might need it.

Scrubs are great for exfoliation, though they also get rid of dead skin cells from skin’s surface, improve blood circulation, helps lymphatic drainage and most importantly, reduces cellulite when used regularly.
