We all need a little help from time to time or our little ones may need, due to skin allergies, bugs, insect bites, Eczema, dry skin, poison ivy or even minor cuts and burns. Is it not?
What do you do hen something like that strikes, or even acne for that matter? Do you know skin oils that can combat minor scraps, wounds, burns or even skin allergies, to skin conditions are real? Haven’t you heard your grandma probably telling some slimy cream she has is a cure all for everything?
Of course, we’ve heard but did not take them seriously or did not try to find out what it was. Right? The sad part is many of us are leaving traditions behind for fancy cans, jars and plastic containers that cost an arm and leg but do nothing really except causing a whole lot of damage – read cancer! Or worse.
Here’s a cure-all recipe that’s traditional and has stood the test of time and trials and is a real but effective and real cure-all for loads of issues. Let’s see what’s the recipe all about. Shall we?
Ingredients
Aloe Vera Gel – 2 Tbsp.
Jojoba Oil – ¼ Cup
Frankincense Essential Oil – 25 Drops
Lavender Essential Oil – 25 Drops
Avocado Oil – 1 Tsp.
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients to a your hand blender bowl and whisk for a few seconds.
Transfer to a sterilized glass bottle and use as needed.
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
I like using Aloe Vera infused Oil instead of plain Jojoba Oil for this recipe.
Sweet Almond Oil is another option you can consider if you don’t get or prefer Jojoba Oil.
You can use any essential oil(s) of your choice including Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, etc.
Uses of the Oil
You can use this oil for dry or cracked heels, sunburn, poison ivy itch, dry skin, bug or insect bites, Dermatitis, Eczema, Stretch Marks, Acne, piercings or tattoo wounds, dry nails or cuticles, irritated or itchy skin, etc.
Why These Ingredients?
There are times when we really need a way to soothe, heal and protect skin. This unique and effective natural skin oil works wonders for your skin. It is natural and preparing this is really easy. It is an all-in-one oil that can be applied by anyone and everyone for everything!
How to Use the Skin Oil?
Apply to cleansed skin for welcome relief or for soothing your skin. It is also a good moisturizer and can be used during winters for keeping your skin soft and supple.
Shelf Life
I prepare fresh batch every few days considering we add Aloe Vera Gel. The recipe should last for a few days though I would suggest getting rid of it if the smell changes or if it smells pungent.
