DIY Cellulite Rub for Toned Skin

Do you want to get rid of Cellulite? Commonly dubbed Cottage Cheese, Cellulite is one thing both men and women want to get rid of. Here’s a quick and easy recipe to get rid of cellulite, naturally!

Let’s get to the recipe, shall we?

Ingredients

Pineapple –10 pieces (1”)
Brown Sugar – ½ Cup
Salt – 2 Tbsp. (Sea Salt)
Honey – 1 Tbsp.
Grapefruit Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Juniper Berry Essential Oil – 10 Drops
Ground Coffee – ½ Tbsp.

Instructions

Add all the ingredients given above to your mixer / blender / food processor and blend.

You can even just blend the pineapple and mix the other ingredients to it in a mixing bowl.

Voila, the rub is ready for use!

How to Use It?

Apply the blend over your skin – wherever you have cellulite.

Rub the blend briskly for a few minutes (say, 5 minutes)

Let it sit for about 20 minutes.

Exfoliate & follow-up with a moisturizer.

Alternatively, you can also rinse off the area in hot water (opens up your pores) before using the scrub and even dry brush before applying the blend. After 20 minutes, wash off and follow up with a moisturizer. I prefer this method better than just applying and exfoliating.

Why These Ingredients?

All the ingredients listed above help with getting rid of cellulite.

Coffee smells great, what’s not to like about it? But being rich in antioxidants, it is a proven aid to get rid of cellulite. It improves circulation, gets rid of free radicals and stimulates blood flow – important aspects that help with getting rid of cellulite. Regular usage has shown good results in dealing with cellulite.

Salt and sugar offer the scrub its trademark coarseness, aiding with cleansing of pores and exfoliation.

Oils help hold the ingredients together and restore skin’s moisture levels – considering coffee can have a dehydrating effect on your skin.

Honey is another wonderful ingredient that moisturizes and hydrates your skin.

Tips to Tweak the Recipe

You can skip the coffee if you don’t prefer it.

Also, you can use Olive or Coconut Oils if you prefer them better, or don’t have access to the oils listed in the ingredients.
