So, a soft and cracks free foot is everyone’s wish. Right? I wanted to get rid of my rough feet a while back. I wanted a cream that will do this for me.
While I don’t get cracked heel per se, it is more dry and rough at times. So, I wanted something to soothe the skin and make it soft again.
I wanted to keep it simple and less complicated, but it should get the job done – soft and cracks-free feet.
Want to know what I did to achieve that?
Ingredients
Beeswax – 1 Tbsp.
Cocoa Butter – 1 Tbsp.
Avocado Oil – 4 Tbsp.
Vitamin E Oil – ½ Tsp.
Turmeric Essential Oil – 5 Drops

Eucalyptus Oil – 4 Drops
Instructions
In your double boiler, melt the Cocoa Butter and Beeswax together.
When fully melted remove from heat and set aside.
After a few minutes, add the Avocado & Vitamin E Oils, along with the Essential Oils.
Add the mixture to your blender, or your hand blender bowl and whip.
The mixture should be fluffy and soft.
Transfer to a sterilized jar at this stage.
Done!
Tips to Tweak the Recipe
You can use any butter that is available to you easily, or the one you prefer – Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Kokum Butter, etc.
Beeswax can be replaced with other waxes of your choice. But this healing wax is also affordable and costs lesser than counterparts like Candelilla or Carnauba Waxes.
Avocado Oil is one of my favorites for this cream due to its ability to hydrate and moisturize, though other oils like Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, etc. work good too.
You can use any healing, repairing and antimicrobial essential oils for the recipe, though my favorites are Lavender, Turmeric and Eucalyptus. The idea of essential oils here is not just for aroma, but more so for their properties. You can choose something similar if you like them better.
Peppermint, Oregano, Thyme, Tea Tree Oil, etc. are antibacterial like Eucalyptus and Lavender. Clove, Frankincense, Oregano, etc. are healing like Eucalyptus and Lavender. Pepper, Basil, Oregano, Spearmint, etc. are antiseptic like Turmeric Essential Oil.
Whipping – it is a choice. I like the fluffy and soft texture that comes with whipping. Also, less becomes more when the butter is fluffier and it is easier to apply. However, if you like a denser consistency, or don’t want to whip – you can skip whipping.
Vitamin E oil is not just to add shelf life, but also to render softness to the skin. It is optional, though it really accelerates the healing process and leaves your feet feather soft.
