We all want to keep acne at bay. There are different ways to do that and here’s a cream that will keep acne at bay you should try!
The best thing about using a cream is that it is easier to apply and use, compared to a pack. I wanted to keep the cream light and simple. I did not want the cream to worsen acne or trigger breakouts. Also, not all ingredients work for everyone. So, I picked ingredients considering this.

Tips to Tweak the Recipe
Juniper Berry and Clary Sage are great for acne-prone skin and renders a lot of goodness and aroma to the recipe. However, Lavender, Frankincense or even Tea Tree EOs are good for acne-prone skin.
Mango Butter is my base of choice here as it suits all skin types, doesn’t clog pores and keeps skin moisturized instead of drying it out like a lot of acne products do.
Rosehip Oil is miracle worker for acne and keeps marks and scars at bay. It also lightens scars and blemishes.
You can use Citrus Powder instead of Lemon EO, but do not use juice if you want shelf life. I have used ingredients that make storing for a bit possible.
The healing properties of Mango Butter also bring down scars though you can any butter that’s suitable for acne-prone skin or even Aloe Gel instead. When using gel the texture will vary, but some prefer using Aloe Gel to cream or butter-based ingredients to combat acne.
You can also use lotion base for this recipe, but it will need emulsification. By skipping that I have kept the recipe easier for everyone.
You can use other ingredients in this recipe, or add more ingredients to make the recipe relevant to your needs and preferences. I have tried to keep the recipe simpler and easier – so everyone can go natural instead of thinking it is hard and costly! Don’t forget to do a patch test, though all the listed ingredients are suitable for most. Don’t have time for DIY Recipes?
