  • Skin problems or Acne due to stress.

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil can penetrate your pores deeply, moisturizing and nourishing it from within. Roast about 10 Peppercorns and crush them. Heat a liter of Coconut Oil in a heavy bottomed pan and add the crushed Peppercorns, along with 3 – 4 Dried Indian Gooseberries, 2 Twigs of Curry Leaves and a handful of Henna Leaves. Let it steep for a few minutes and when the oil changes color, remove and let it cool down. Use this daily as your moisturizer and to soothe your skin.

Honey

A well-known Anti-Inflammatory, nothing soothes your sensitive skin like Honey does. You can use it directly as a cleaner, or add it to your DIY products and use it along with other soothing ingredients like Cocoa Powder to scrub, cleanse or soothe your skin.

Sugar

Sugar is a wonderful ingredient for those with Sensitive Skin. Use this as your exfoliating agent for cleansing your skin and follow-up with Coconut Oil.

Cucumber

We all Cucumber know soothes your skin and has loads of skin benefits to offer. Did you know it is a natural way to soothe sensitive skin? You can apply pureed Cucumber directly to soothe and soften your skin, or add honey along for more benefits.

Mango

A yummy fruit, Mango is a great skin tonic. It is a wonderful way to soothe your skin, when combined with Yogurt, Rose Water and Honey. Just make a mask with these four ingredients and apply on your skin. Wash off after 15 minutes with lukewarm water and follow-up with Coconut Oil or Almond Oil as a moisturizer. I also dry the mangoes during season, so I can powder them and use during off-season.

Cocoa

Mix equal quatities of Cocoa Powder and Honey, along with 2 Tbsp. of Milk and 1 Tbsp. of Ground Coffee and use this as your mask twice a week. This mixture can also be used to get rid of cellulite.

Potatoes

Potatoes are a good addition to your skin care routine when you have sensitive skin. Just grind peeled Potatoes along with a Tbsp. of Honey and apply it on your skin. Wash off after 15 minutes and follow up with a cold water splash.
